Inside

There is also a utility room with washing machine and iron. The second bedroom, and fully fitted kitchen, and lounge are on the first floor. The fully fitted kitchen includes an electric Smeg oven, gas hob, and large fridge freezer. This leads on to the large high ceiling lounge with comfortable sofas and dinning room table to seat 6. There is a CD/Radio, books and games.
On the second floor is the master bedroom where there is a family size bathroom with full size bath and separate shower. This room also has a cot. A highchair is available and two safety gates.
The house has mains water, electricity and drainage.
Outside
Out through the patio doors to the terraces where there are sun loungers, hammocks table and chairs and a stone built BBQ. At night time there are patio lights to enjoy the hot summer evenings with a glass of wine.
There are two patio areas, one accessed through the living room doors with steps to the other terrace. One grass. The plunge pool is located up a few steps, ideal when the temperature is 40c.
Relax on the terrace and take in the peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking views. In the distance you will see the tiny lights of neighbouring hamlets on the surrounding hilltops, look up at the sky and you will see thousands of stars unhindered by light pollution.
In the evenings during May and June watch the greenery light up as hundreds of fireflies dance around.
From the house there is a great walk up into the mountain where you may see eagles, deer, wild boar and porcupines. The higher you go the more splendid the views of the valley below.
Nearby activities include horse riding, canoeing, there is a beautiful gorge with guided tours and the area is very popular for mountain biking. Bagni di Lucca also has a large communal swimming pool.
The location of the house is also a great base for exploring the rest of Italy.
Ideally located just an hours drive from Pisa airport.
The house sits at the base of the Monte Prato Fiorito and there is a track leading from the house up the mountain where you have stunning views and wonderful wild flowers.
There are a bar, restaurant and general store/grocer's shop, butcher, post office, historic church about 10 minutes' walk away.
Bagni di Lucca (20 minute drive) has many shops and services, river, bars, restaurants, public pools, theatre, tennis club, market, banks, post offices, ice cream parlour, train station etc.
