"Palazzo Biondi" is a beautiful building in the historical centre of my hometown, Licata. It was built by one of my ancestors, my great grandfather "bisnonno" Francesco long time ago.
What my sisters and I offer is the top floor: the top floor flat has a wonderful view over the "Piazza Elena" and the other 2 "vie" around the building.
It is a very bright and very well ventilated apartment, with huge balconies and huge windows, and also a long balcony, called "galleria", with a special view over the piazza. "Palazzo Biondi" is one of the finest historic buildings of the early '900.
It is unique and sophisticated, with its singular statement and its original, ancient floors (pictures attached for your review).
It is situated in the very heart of the historical centre, between the walking area and the "Marina", the zone close to the seaside, with its "vicoli", tight, sharped roads, that make the position really advantageous.
But I'd rather stop describing it to let you surf the net and discover it yourself. I'll just drop a line more about Italy's "Stile Liberty" (Art Nouveau) and its massive presence in that area. My hometown is a special, gorgeous place on the seaside with beautiful architecture and an ancient story to discover: Hellenes, Romans, Vikings, Phoenicians, Arabs, Spanish, left us something, either cultural (food, manners, tradition, words...) or archeological.
There we go:

This flat should be restructured, with project already approved. For professionals.
Professional and lovers the Mediterranean sea and culture would be the best, people who could really appreciate how rich and enjoyable Sicily can be.
This is an historical flat, my sisters and I would love to tell you its story, especially about its importance for the American landings during the WWII.
Unfortunately, our careers took my sisters and I faraway from our hometown, so we kept the flat for a while, then we realized that is better to part from it. We would be more than glad to know that it could be enjoyed by someone else who could care of it with the same caring that we would use ourselves.
If you want to know a little bit more, just google "Licata" in both web and pictures. Besides, drop me a line whether you fancy have a look to old pictures and I will forward to you some old gorgeous ones, black and white.
And also have a look at this. This is a wonderful project and it is really worth it to read it a little bit.

Thanks for reading and for all your attention, hope to hear from you soon.
PS: on request, we could offer antique and valuable furniture to furnish the flat with a well and truly Sicilian style. Whether interested, we are happy to forward pictures.
PS*: Garage on request.
Cheers,
Alessia
