Orciano Pisano is in the Pisa hills area, about 20km from the city and the sea. It is one of the ever decreasing number of rural areas left in Tuscany that has successfully remained untainted by large scale tourism.
Situated just a few kilometres from the sea, the area is characterised by rolling hillsides, rows of cyresses and wheat fields that take on different hues to match the changing seasons, never eliciting the same emotion twice from the beholder.
Orciano Pisano itself is a small hamlet of just 600 inhabitants. The local economy is based mostly on the production of cereals and wheat.

In front of the large window of each of the villas, there is a hayloft with wooden floor, which can function almost as a second - and completely outdoor - living space.
Further on, there is another space, this time with a stone floor, whereas the rest of the outdoor space is taken up with the garden, fields and trees.
The surrounding area also includes a public car park with play area.
