It was later owned by the Capponi family, and used as a military headquarters during the wars between Florence and Siena.
The remnants of the castle have now been fully restored and it stands as a splendid example of medieval architecture, with its ancient fireplaces, “pietra serena” (local grey stone) details and wooden beams.

House 2: approx. 150m2, on 2 levels, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large open-plan space with living room with fireplace/dining area/kitchen.
The three houses are nestled in about 40 hectares, of which 1 hectare is DOCG Chianti Classico vineyard.
